File Submission Guidelines
To ensure your finished product looks crisp, vibrant, and exactly as you intended, please prepare and save your digital artwork files according to the specifications below.
⚙️ Technical Specifications
  • Resolution: 150 DPI (dots per inch) or higher is required for high-quality printing.
  • Color Mode: CMYK Color Mode must be used (do not submit in RGB, or colors may shift during print).
  • Accepted File Formats:
    • Vector: AI, SVG, PDF
    • Raster: PSD, JPG, PNG
📐 Dimensions & Orientation
  • Measurement Standard: Always format your file dimensions as Width × Height (Width is left-to-right, Height is top-to-bottom).
  • Orientation: Submit your file in its proper orientation (Portrait ↕ or Landscape ↔). Do not rotate your artwork sideways to fit a canvas.

How to Create a Custom Size
  1. Log In: Go to Canva.com and sign in.
  2. Click Custom Size: In the top-right corner, click Create a design, then select ➕ Custom size at the bottom of the dropdown.
  3. Change Units First: Change the unit dropdown from pixels (px) to your preferred print measurement (like in for inches or cm for centimeters).
  4. Enter Dimensions: Enter your exact Width and Height.
  5. Create Canvas: Click Create new design.
    ⚠️ Free Canva accounts cannot resize a canvas after it is created. Verify your dimensions before designing!
How to Export for Print
  1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Download from the dropdown menu.
  3. Change the "File type" dropdown to PDF Print. (Do not select "PDF Standard").
  4. Under "Color profile", select CMYK (best for professional printing). (Requires Canva Pro. If using a Free account, download in RGB and our system will automatically convert it—though bright colors may shift slightly).
  5. Click the purple Download button.
🖌️ 2. Adobe Illustrator Guide (Best for Logos & Text)
Document Setup
  1. Open Illustrator and click New File.
  2. Set your profile units to Inches (or your preferred print measurement).
  3. Enter your exact Width and Height.
  4. Under Advanced Options, change the Color Mode to CMYK Color.
  5. Ensure Raster Effects are set to High (300 ppi).
  6. Click Create.
How to Save for Print
  1. Go to File > Save As (or Save a Copy).
  2. Set the format dropdown to Adobe PDF (pdf).
  3. In the PDF preset dropdown at the top, select [High Quality Print].
  4. Click Save PDF.

Document Setup
  1. Open Photoshop and click New File.
  2. Change the document units dropdown to Inches.
  3. Input your desired Width and Height.
  4. Set the Resolution field to exactly 150 Pixels/Inch or 300 Pixels/Inch.
  5. Change the Color Mode dropdown to CMYK Color (8-bit).
  6. Click Create.
How to Save for Print
  • Option A (Preferred): Go to File > Save As, select Photoshop PDF, and choose the [High Quality Print] preset.
  • Option B (Flat Image): Go to File > Save As, change the format to JPEG, and set the image quality slider to Maximum (Large File / Quality 12).
📥 Submission Checklist & Preview Tips
Before uploading your design, take 60 seconds to preview your file to prevent production delays:
  • The 150 DPI Check: Zoom into your design to 100%. If text or images look blurry on your screen, they will print blurry.
  • The Edge Check: Ensure no critical text or logos sit too close to the outer border where they could be trimmed.
  • The Color Space Check: Double-check that your color mode is set to CMYK.
  • The Orientation Check: Confirm your file layout matches your desired final print orientation.
